I designed the Social Studies series within National Geographic’s Ladders collection, creating visual systems and layouts tailored for students in Grades 3–5. Each book balanced rich photography with leveled content to meet Common Core standards and support differentiated instruction.
My work focused on making complex topics accessible through thoughtful design, while aligning with National Geographic’s visual identity. I collaborated across editorial and production teams to ensure every spread supported both student engagement and teacher guidance. The result was a visually compelling series that brought social studies to life for young readers at multiple learning levels.
