BlackFriday.com was attracting millions of deal hunters but struggling to meet expectations. The site was clunky, hard to navigate, and slow to update. Users couldn’t find deals quickly, and mobile shoppers were especially underserved.
I led a full redesign to fix the experience. We built a flexible CMS for real-time ad uploads, restructured navigation and filters, and designed a mobile-first UI built for speed and clarity. We also improved search and categorization to surface better deals, faster.
The results: conversions jumped 20 percent, users stayed longer, and mobile performance improved dramatically. What started as a chaotic browsing experience became a go-to platform for Black Friday shoppers.
