Structuring for Monetization at Scale
Best.Offers.com was built to drive revenue through high-intent traffic, but users struggled to act on top deals efficiently. At the same time, I was also working on a credit card comparison experience with similar user journeys and business goals, helping users evaluate options quickly while supporting monetized content.
I restructured the information architecture, refined filters to better match how users browse, and prioritized layout decisions that moved users toward high-value actions. The goal was to reduce friction and make it easier to evaluate and compare offers across categories and merchants.
We designed ad placements to support the site’s monetization model without slowing users down. Sponsored listings were prioritized within deal grids, and high-performing modules were positioned where users were most likely to engage. This balance allowed the business to surface partner offers while keeping the experience focused and revenue-generating.
